Today's recipe is......... RISOTTO BOWL
Ingredients:
1.5 cup of Brown rice
1 cup of kidney beans
0.5 cup of corn
0.5 cup of onion, tomatoes and cabbage (chopped)
1 tsp of butter and all purpose flour
2.5 cup of milk
2 tbs of green chilies (chopped)
1 tbs of rosemary, thyme, oregano, cumin powder, mint leaves, cumin powder, coriander (chopped)
1 tbs of garlic (grated)
2 tbs of sour cream, olive oil and lemon juice
salt and cheese (processed and /or cheddar )to taste (grated)
Procedure :
Half cook Brown rice in water with salt and olive oil for 15 min. Take a pan add butter then add all purpose flour roast flour in butter for sometime, add milk, boil it for few minutes to make thick sauce after that add garlic, rice add salt, rosemary, thyme, oregano, garlic, cheese, green chilies let the rice cook for at least 15 minute.Risotto is ready.
Take a bowl add boiled kidney beans, corn ,onion and cabbage (chopped) coriander, cumin powder, lemon juice,salt,green chilies, cumin powder. mixed it well.
In bowl first make layer of risotto then add above salad then grated cheese.
put it in convection mode for 10 min for 200 c (optional)
garnish with cabbage leaves and sour cream.
