Today's recipe is.......... Dal makhani
Ingredients:
3/4 cup of black gram beans
3 cups of water
1/4 cup of kidney beans
1/2 cup of onion and tomatoes (chopped)
1 tbsp of butter,ginger, garlic paste, chilli powder
1 tsp of garam Masala, kasuri methi, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, cumin coriander powder
2 tbsp of fresh cream
Salt to taste
Procedure:
Soak black gram and kidney beans in same water.
Boil black gram and kidney beans with ginger and chilli powder and salt in it. As it gets cooked put it aside.
Take a pan add butter in it. Add cumin seeds ginger garlic paste in it. Add onion as it turns brown add tomatoes in it. Cook it for 5 to 6 minutes.
Add black gram and kidney beans with water in it.add turmeric powder and cumin coriander powder. Cook it for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes add garam Masala and kasuri methi in it. Add fresh cream in it.
Servings:
Dal makhani is ready to serve with plain rice or jeera rice.
