Today's recipe is.........Veg biryani
Ingredients:
1 bowl of cooked rice
1/2 bowl of tomatoes, onion, cabbage, potatoes( sliced chopped)
1/2 bowl of onion tomato puree
2 tbsp of cashew nuts , lemon juice, ginger garlic green chillies paste
2 tsp of cumin powder, cumin seeds, garam Masala, turmeric powder, coriander (chopped)
3 tbsp of oil
2 to 3 cloves, bay leaves
Salt to taste
Procedure:
Take a pan. Add oil in it. Salow fry tomatoes, onion, potatoes, cabbage in it. Put it aside.
In second pan add oil. Bay leaves, clove, onion tomato puree. Cook it well. Add turmeric powder, salt, cumin powder, garam Masala, ginger garlic chilli paste and lemon juice. Make sauce from it.
Now in bowl first add vegetables layer then rice layer then sauce. Repeat the procedure. Put it into microwave for 5 minutes.
Servings:
Garnish it with corriander. Fried cashew nuts.Serve it with curd or any flavoured riata.
