Today's recipe is................kesar sondesh
Ingredients:
500 ml of milk
1 tbsp of lemon juice
1 cup of water
100 gm of sugar
1/2 cup of kesar ( saffron)
Pistachios
Procedure:
Take a pan add milk in it. Let it come to boiling point.
As soon as it boiled switched of the stove and add lemon juice in it.
Let the chhena ( cottage cheese or paneer ) get separate from it. If it is not separated properly add more lemon juice in it.
Strain chhena using strainer. Leave it for at least 15 minutes so that excess water gets removed.
Now take chhena and using palm make it smooth.
Now take a pan add chhena in it add sugar and kesar( saffron ) which is soaked in milk.burn the extra moisture and make balls from it.
Servings:
Garnish it with pistachios.
