Today's recipe is........ Mexican sizzler
Ingredients:
For Mexican rice
1 bowl of rice( cooked )
1/2 bowl of kidney beans( cooked)
1/ 2 bowl of tomatoes( chopped)
1/4 bowl of onion( chopped)
1/4 bowl of capsicum( chopped)
1 tbsp of green chilli garlic paste , oregano, basil, lemon juice, cumin powder, coriander chopped
1 tsp of black pepper powder
2 tbsp of Oil
Salt to taste
For fries
1 bowl of potatoes ( Julienne cut)
Oil to fry
Salt and pepper
For patties
1 bowl Potatoes ( boiled and messed)
1 tbsp chilli, garlic, ginger paste, lemon juice
1/2 bread crumbs
1/ 2 toast powder
Salt to taste
Oil to fry or shallow fry
For sauce
1 bowl of tomatoes ( chopped)
1/ 2 bowl of onions ( chopped)
1/2 bowl of capsicum ( chopped)
1 tbsp of green chilli paste, garlic paste, tomato catchup, oregano,lemon juice, basil
1 tsp of black pepper, red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Vegetables like carrot, French beans, capsicum, corn
(All boiled)
5 to 6 cabbage leaves ( whole)
Procedure:
Take a pan add water in it and boil above vegetables .
Now take a pan add oil , salt , black pepper powder, all boiled veggetables in it and saute all well.
For Mexican rice follow the Mexican rice recipe.
For French fries follow the French fries recipe.
For sauce
Take a pan add oil in it. Add onion , garlic chilli paste in it. As soon as onion gets cooked add tomatoes in it. Add capsicum, oregano, salt , black pepper powder, lemon juice, cumin powder, tomato katchup in it. Add some water if required.
Cook it for 5 to 10 minutes. Sauce is ready.
For patties
Take a bowl and Mix potatoes, bread crumbs, chilli ginger garlic paste, salt, lemon juice and make patties from it.
Coat patties in toast powder to make outer side crispy. Now either fry it or shallow fry it.
Take sizzler plate and put it on flame for at least 15 to 20 minutes.
Grease sizzler plate with oil. Put cabbage leaves on it.
Now arrange Mexican rice, French fries, patties , vegetable on plate. Pour Mexican sauce on it.
Servings:
Serve it on hot sizzler plate.
