Lets celebrate this holi and dhuleti with something refreshing

Today's recipe is .......... Thandai
Ingredients:
1 litre milk
10 gm of opium, whole black pepper
15 gm of cashew nuts, almonds , aliv seeds( magajtari) , fennel
250 gm sugar ( as per sweet taste)
Rose petals
Procedure:
Soak opium, black pepper, cashew nuts, almonds, aliv seeds, fennel in water either overnight or 7 to 8 hours before you use it.
Now using food processor make fine paste of above ingredients. Put it aside.
Now take a pan switch on the stove add milk in it add required sugar in it. Boil it for 5 to 10 minutes. Then switch off the stove.
Put it aside until it comes to room temperature.
Now add above paste in it. Mix it well. Put Ghandi into fridge and serve cool.
Servings:
Take chilled thandai garnish it with rose petals and cashew , almond powder.
