Dear diet......Today's recipe is......
Handvo
1 bowl of rice flour
1/2 bowl of split bengal gram flour
1/4 bowl of split black gram flour
1 bowl of buttermilk
2 tbsp of sesame seeds, chopped garlic
Curry leaves, ginger chilli garlic paste, spring garlic (chopped),red chilli powder chopped coriander
1 tbsp of mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds,cumin coriander powder
2 tsp of turmeric powder,asafetida
Salt to taste
6 tbsp of oil
Procedure:
Take a bowl add rice flour, split bengal gram flour, split black gram flour , now add butter milk in it. Add salt to taste.add water such that batter consistency stayed thick.
Now put lid on bowl and put it aside for 5 to 6 hour for fermentation.
After fermentation add ginger chilli garlic paste,chopped coriander, turmeric powder,cumin coriander powder mix the batter well.
Now take a pan add 6 tbsp of oil add mustard seeds chopped garlic,fenugreek seeds,curry leaves,ed chilli powder ,asafetida in it.
Now add this oil into batter. And mix it well.
Now transfer the batter in to handvo maker. Pour some oil with red chilli powder on it. Sprinkle sesame seeds on it.
Cook it for 1 hour on medium flame. Check whether it cooked or not by poking spoon. If it comes out clean then it is ready to eat.
Servings:
Serve it with tea or tomato catch up or oil.
