Medu vada

Dear diet.......
  Today's recipe is........... Medu vada

Ingredients:

2 bowl of urad dal (overnight soaked)
2 cup of water
1/2 bowl of onions( chopped)
2 tsp of cumin seeds
1 tbsp of  green chillies and chopped coriander
Oil to fry

For Sambar

1/2 bowl of split red gram
1 tbsp of cumin, garlic, split gram, curry leaves, fenugreek seeds, urad dal , black pepper , mustard seeds
2 dried red chilli
1/2 tsp of asafoetida
Take oil and roast all dry spices except asafoetida.roast all for few minutes then add asafoetida and blend it. Sambar Masala is ready.
1/2  bowl of vegetables like potatoes, tomatoes, drum sticks, onion.
1 tbsp of lemon juice

For chatni

Coconut , 1 green chilli , curry leaves, coriander, 1 tomato

Recipe:

Take soaked urad dal. Add 2 cups of water in  it. Blend it using blender. Make thick batter.add cumin seeds, onion, coriander , salt in it.

Now apply water on hands. Take batter and give daugh nut shape. Directly fry it. Medu vada is ready.

For sambar

Take  boiled split red gram. Add water in it. Add sambar Masala , your choice of vegetables, lemon juice.

Take oil add curry leaves, mustard seeds and asafoetida in it. Add this oil in above mixture.

For chatni

Blind above ingredients. Transfer it into another bowl.
Take oil add muster seeds and curry leaves. Add it in to above mixture. Chatni is ready.

Servings:
 
Serve medu vada with sambar and chatni.
