Today's recipe is..........Mexican hearts
Ingredients:
1/2 bowl of oats (finely grinded)
1/4 bowl of corn flour
1/8 bowl of all purpose flour
1 bowl of kidney beans( cooked)
1/2 bowl of corn ( cooked)
2 bowl of tomatoes ( chopped)
1 bowl of onion( chopped)
1 tbsp of oregano, cumin powder, green chilli paste, lemon juice, coriander, cheese( gratted), olives
1 tsp of black pepper , sugar
Salt to taste
2 tbsp of olive oil
Oil to fry
1/2 bowl of cabbage, onion
2 tbsp of sour cream
Procedure:
Mix oats, corn flour, all purpose flour, olive oil, salt and water to make fine daugh.
Roll the daugh and cut it into heart shapes.
For stuffing:
Take a pan. Add olive oil in it. Add chopped onion and tomatoes in it. Stir it 5 minutes. Add kidney beans, lemon juice, oregano, green chilli paste, black pepper and corn in it. Stuffing is ready.
Now stuff it in to heart and cover it with another heart and join it using fork.
Now fry it on medium flame.
For dip:
Take a pan.add olive oil,chopped garlic, onion and tomatoes, salt, lemon juice and pinch of sugar. Saute it for a while. Dip is ready.
For salad:
Take chopped cabbage and onion add olive oil , green chilli, olives, oregano, saur cream, salt in it.
Servings:
Serve Mexican hearts with dip and salad.
