Today's recipe is..... Sev khamni
Ingredients:
1 bowl of split Bengal gram ( overnight soaked)
2 tbsp of curd, coriander chopped
1 tbsp of green chilli , mustard seeds , sugar, lemon juice
1 bowl of sev
3 tbsp of oil
1 tbsp of fruitsalt
2 tbsp of cashew nuts and kismis
Salt to taste
Procedure:
Take overnight soak split Bengal gram and churn it in food processor.
Not so smooth paste.add some water while churning it.
Now add curd, salt and 2 cups of water in it.mix it well and rest it for 2 hours.
After 2 hours add fruit salt in it and steam the mixture using steamer.
After 5 minutes take it ( khaman)out and using seizer, create crumble in it. Add cashew nuts and kismis in it.
Now take a pan add oil in it add mustard seeds and chopped green chillies , as it popped up pour it on khamni.
For chatani
In food processor add 3 to 4 cubes of khaman, green chilli, coriander , sugar, lemon juiceand salt. Make fine paste, chatni is ready.
Servings:
Take khamani , pour chatani and coriander on it. Sprinkle sev on it.
