Tostada

Dear diet......
Today's recipe is.........Tostada

Ingredients:
4 to 5 corn tortilla
Or
1/2 bowl of corn flour ( not corn starch)
1/2 bowl of wheat flour
2 tbsp of olive oil
Salt
1/2 tbsp of ajwain
2 cups of water

For dressing

1 bowl of kidney beans ( cooked)
1/2 bowl of chopped tomatoes
1/4 bowl of chopped onion
1/2 bowl of  chopped capsicum
1 tbsp of garlic paste, lemon juice, green chilli paste or chopped green chilli
2 tsp of cumin powder, black pepper powder, oregano, chopped coriander
1/2 bowl of gratted cheese
green or black olives
Cabbage or latus , onions ( julienne cut)
1/2 bowl of sour cream
Basil leaves
Salt to taste

Procedure:

If you have ready corn tortilla then fry it.

Otherwise

Take a bowl add corn and wheat flour, salt, ajwain, oil and water make smooth daugh. Roll it. And then fry it.

Take a pan add olive oil in it. Add garlic chilli paste in it. Add onions in it. Salute it well. After that add tomatoes, capsicum  in it.

Add herbs like oregano, black pepper, cumin powder, basil leaves, lemon juice,chopped coriander , salt in it.

As tomatoes start to leave water add kidney beans in it. Cook it for 5 to 7 minutes. Dressing is ready.

Now take fried tostada. Spread above dressing on it.  Spread sour cream on it. On top add cabbage or latus, onion and gretted cheese on it.

Servings:

Put black or green olives on top and sprinkle oregano on it.

Toast it to melt cheese for 1 minute in microwave.

Or else you can serve it directly.
